Julian Gaskin has 22 years’ experience as a Solicitor and High Court Advocate.

Julian has vast experience working alongside organisations including, but not limited to, the Crown prosecution Service, Environment Agency, Trading Standards, Health Care Products Regulatory Agency, Local Authority regulatory Bodies, Health & Safety Executives, Security Industry Authority and HM Revenue & Customs .

He has successfully defended prosecutions relating to regulatory and fraud matters, money laundering and confiscation orders, compliance and crisis planning. Pro quality building and maintenance work, counterfeit goods such as clothing and the implantation of cigarettes, along with the importation and distribution of unlicensed medicines.

Julian has experience working on complex serious criminal investigations including, homicide, murder death by dangerous driving, conspiracy to supply Class A Drugs, rape, fraud, welfare benefits fraud.

Julian also has significance dealings working with the environment agency and prosecutions, ranging from Salmonid, poaching, illegal fixed engines and pollution incidents.

Mr Gaskin has also assisted I various cases for the Police Federation of England & Wales representing Police Officers in criminal, employment and police discipline procedures.

Julian recently assisted in successfully challenging a Notice of Suspension of Licence of a children’s home under Section 20B of the Care Standards Act 2000 issue by Ofsted.

He is regularly instructed to represent individuals at both the Magistrates and Crown Court in a wide range of areas in road traffic legislation including drink and drunk driving, dangerous driving, careless driving, failure to stop and report an accident, driving without a licence, failure to name a driver, mobile phone offences, exceptional financial hardship arguments, special reasons not to endorse applications, applications to restore driving licences and many more.
